The Masters of Rugby League was formed for semi-retired and non-competitive players and officials to showcase their skills and abilities on the field without the risk of serious injury. The objective is to enjoy the game but still be able to get out of bed the next morning and go to work.

The Game is open to all. You must have obtained the age of 35yrs and not be playing any other competition football.
All games end in a draw with the emphasis being on sportsmanship, showing old skills and just enjoying the opportunity to still play Rugby League and renewing old friendships with a little bit of a convivial thrown in.
We have players from 35 to 74 playing the game together,with the various coloured shorts protecting, along with the modified rules each player.
We play roughly once a month with various modules being held at local clubs.
we insist on teams wishing to join Masters to be affiliated to a junior Rugby League Club so that when they hold games all profits go back to the club to help develop their younger players and assist the clubs in making ends meet.
